TASKS :

Naval industry for our industrial clients :

• Make sure that the Health and Safety policy and management system put into place by our client on a naval construction sites is running according to plan.

• Manage the safety office

• Carry out audits, accident analysis, unsafe act auditing and identify and rectify anomalies.


CANDIDATE PROFILE :

You will need to have first hand experience of working in the maritime Health and Safety sector, ideally in relation to naval construction and maintenance and /or posses Health and Safety qualifications at university level.


You must have an in-depth knowledge of the health and safety rules and regulations in relation to the naval industry.


You must be able to work as part a team and on your own initiative.


TYPE OF CONTRACT :

Full-time for the duration of the construction site


Prevention and control

  • Training and equipping of fire prevention teams
  • Study and characterisation of fire risks and fire fighting methods for all types of situations and industrie
  • Fire surveillance of high risk work 
  • Auditing and advice on fire prevention in public buildings (Hotels, shopping centres, etc…)
  • Development, implementation and elaboration of POI – PPI by leasing with local authorities 
  • Provision of fire monitoring teams, professional firemen, rescuers and first-aid workers on building sites, ships and aircrafts
  • Provision of chief fire prevention officers on industrial and public sites 
  • Training of team-members for primary and secondary fire and rescue missions
  • Merchant mariner training
